Ok Emme Rollins has done it again. This is the 2nd book and I have waited for this one it take place 2 years after Dear Rockstar.

But why did i give this book 5 stars well because it is amazing i couldnt get enought. I could read about Sara and Dale forever. I hope that Emme does more to this story not that it is really needed. I just want more

Lucky Girl is the follow up to Dear Rockstar in the Rockstar Romance series. I have been dying for it to be released after reading Dear Rockstar, which is the book that inspired my book boyfriend shelf on Goodreads.

I loved Lucky Girl, it didn’t have the same intensity for me that Dear Rockstar did, but I still loved it. We follow Dale and Sara now on this journey through Dale’s success as they navigate through a manager who doesn’t really have Dale’s best interest at heart, through secrets and baggage from the past coming up (on both sides), through family problems, friendships, we get to see it all.

Dale and Sara still have this beautiful hot love that we as readers are really hoping will stand the test of time with one of them being a famous rock star and one of them having an insanely painful past.

I think the only thing I could have wanted in this book was more of Dale and Sara together, more time with just them where they were completely focused on each other and not the chaos surrounding them. Although, that kind of was the whole point of the book, Dale is now a star, will their relationship survive it. I get why there wasn’t more. )

All in all, another excellent book by Emme Rollins, one of my most favorite authors. She has a knack for writing hot romances with the perfect amount of drama to draw us in.
I liked the first book in the Dear Rockstar series and this one was just as good. It was a nice continuation and closing (if that's the case) of the Dale and Sara saga.

Dale is on his way to becoming a huge rock star, meaning thousands and thousands of female fans that don't want their idol to have a girlfriend, let alone a fiancee. Sara is going with the flow, letting Dale have his time in the spotlight as to not resent her later on. She is working and living with Dale's dad John while Dale is cutting his album and gearing up for a tour.

Things are messy for this couple and stay that way pretty much throughout the book. There were quite a few loose ends in the first installment and believe it or not new ones in this second one. Dale and Sara have to learn how to live the rock star lifestyle while still dealing with issues from their past.

I liked how solid Dale and Sara are as a couple, you read the blurb and figure the first thing Dale will do is stray after hitting the big time, but he is so in love with Sara and her with him. She still needs protecting from her past and new problems she is facing now. This girl has been through a lot in her young years and seems to be stronger for it.

This is a great second book, there are lots of questions answered and gaps filled in for both Dale and Sara. I loved the ending and would like to see what else may be in store for this unique couple. Well, as long as it isn't anything bad, they have suffered enough.
I really enjoyed Lucky Girl! It takes off two years after where Dear Rockstar leaves off and we are taken on Dale's journey to fame and fortune, it isn't always a easy road. Dale and Sara go through soo much this book just as they did the last. There are many surprising twists and some I would of never guessed. I was a little upset that Dale didn't stick up more for Sara against his manager and such, but being young, that time and just starting, I get it. Just a TINY bit disappointed in him. But loved him even more this book, he loves Sara so much it's so sweet -)
Can these two crazy kids make their relationship work? can past demons come between them? does fame change Dale? You will have to read to find out -)
I really enjoyed the first and second book and can only hope Miss. Emme gives us another with the future of babies and maybe more of Dales career or even some other members of the band like bear, I was really intrigued by his character. So many questions I need answers to. Great series!
